Please read the below information before booking onto a course to ensure its the right one for you.
What is Learn to Run? This 8 week course is for total beginners and you’ll learn all the key skills and techniques perfect for those of you who have always wanted to try running but have felt you were not fit enough, fast enough or strong enough. Our course will take you safely and gently to introduce you to learning how to run in a supportive group environment where no one gets left behind. The first week you will only need to jog a total of 60 seconds at one time making it perfect for those who have never run before and eventually conditions you to run 5k or maybe even more!
What is Keep on Running? This 8 week course is perfect if you want to join a gentle paced running group of ladies. Every session we warm the group up, then go for a gently paced run followed by a warm down and stretches. This run club will ensure you pace through your run safely with the support of a fully qualified fitness instructor. The best part is you get to bond with other ladies who enjoy running to.
Where to Park? Parking is available in Cassiobury Park at Gade Avenue car park (WD18 7LG). There is also street parking available on Cassiobury Park Avenue, (WD18 7LB) which is a short walk from the meeting point but please note restrictions apply. Further parking is available in the Town Centre at either Sainsbury’s or one of the town centre car parks.
Public Transport? Watford Station is on the London Underground Metropolitan Line and is around a 6 minute walk down Cassiobury Park Avenue to the meeting point.
What to wear? Comfortable running shoes and comfortable sports clothing.
Payment? Each 8 week course costs £35 which is paid online. Please be aware we unable to refund or carry forward missed sessions (including: injury, illness, family issues, change of mind) as this is a progressive product and is purchased at your own risk. You MUST PRE BOOK by using the online booking system as detailed at the top of this page. Please note our courses fill up extremely quickly and are first come first serve!
